Welcome to As Told By Anya Ltd., a journey that began with a single voice aspiring to echo the untold stories of many. Founded in 2020 by Anya Nicola, a dedicated mental health advocate, writer, and sociologist-in-training, our company has always been more than just a content creation firm. It’s a testament to the power of storytelling for healing and advocacy.
Both personal and professional milestones have marked Anya’s path – from navigating the challenges of being a single mother of four and the primary caregiver for her senior mother to spearheading initiatives that support marginalized communities. Her academic endeavours in sociology and African studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough have deeply influenced her perspective, enriching the narratives we create and share.
